Kimberlee L. (see pic on left) I first met Barbara at the gym in late December 2017. I had seen her there numerous times and was in awe at her appearance (it was obvious to me that she was a trainer) but never had the nerve to approach her. It wasn’t until I inquired about a tracking book that I had seen a few other women using that I was introduced to Barbara and Woo kickboxing...my life since then has never been the same. I had been on my fitness journey for about 4 years. I started with running then became one of the many Beachbody followers. I had lots of success but also lots of setbacks. I lost 40 pounds, gained back 30, lost 20 more, and again gained more back. I found myself in a dark place, I lacked confidence and had lost my way and needed something new. I began working with Barbara in late January 2018. Initially I wasn’t interested in being a bodybuilder and competing but after only a few weeks of working with Barbara and the program she gave me I began envisioning myself on stage and the fire was lit. She tailored my program to fit my body and the changes have been consistent and, if I do say so myself, astounding. Not just physically either, mentally and emotionally I am changed forever. Barbara has helped me achieve a level of self confidence and love that I have never experienced before. She believes in me and therefore I believe in me. She is there in times of triumph as well as in times of turmoil...let’s face it, it’s not always sunshine and rainbows. Even though I’ve only known Barbara for less than a year, the love I have for her and the bond we share is as strong as if we had known each other our whole lives. Barbara gave me something I have never had, a family in fitness. It took some time to come out of my shell but the bonds I have formed with Barbara and my Woo crew have set the tone for my success. I am eternally grateful to her for what she has given me. She has shown me that I am capable of greatness and that with hard work and dedication I can do anything, I can live my dreams. I AM WORTHY AND I CAN DO THIS IF I MAKE MYSELF DO THIS!!
Chris L. For the past 2-3 years, I had been cycling through at-home beach body workouts like T25, P90x3, Insanity, and Body Beast, but I wasn't getting the results I was hoping for. I decided to try a free class at Woo's. My first class, I was in rough shape 15 minutes into it. It was brutal, but I felt great, and accomplished afterwards. After taking a class here and there, I decided to start going 4 times a week. After 7 weeks of combining a healthier diet with going 4-5 times a week, I'm down 10 pounds (started as a thick 183, now a lean 173), I'm as lean as I've ever been, and my conditioning is light years ahead of what it was when I first started. I don't plan of stopping any time soon. The professors are great and will help you any way they can and everyone that goes is very positive and supportive. Overall, an amazing place. I highly recommend it!

In a town where there's an abundance of places to join kickboxing, Woo surpasses them all!! I've spent way too much time and money trying other studios only to feel like all they cared about was my checkbook. Finally, I've found the perfect studio!!! Ben F. Hands down the best academy around. Roger and Barbara are great professors and will always push you to new heights in physical fitness. The kickboxing class is the best cardio I have had. Roger is also a great BJJ professor and part of Brazilian Top Team, this is a top notch BJJ school.

Erin H. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Roger and Barbara Woo, husband and wife owners, are so genuine and so encouraging to everyone who walks through their door. Their adult kickboxing class is great for ALL fitness levels- anyone can join at any time, without fear of being judged. I've actually sustained injuries doing classes at other places, but this is a very safe place to work out. There is a wonderful padded floor (which is easier on bad knees) and they always incorporate lots of stretching into the workouts. I've been coming here for about three years, and I've never felt so comfortable working out anywhere. They somehow make a very challenging workout lots of fun!
